About the role
Engineering team responsible for conceptualizing and optimizing the Steel Melting Shop at an integrated steel plant. The Manager/Assistant Manager leads value engineering, capex/opex estimation, and coordinates with technology suppliers and vendors to deliver detailed engineering specifications. Based in Jajpur, Jamshedpur, Joda, and Meramandali with on-site work model, relocation assistance available.
What you’ll do
- Conceptualize steel melting shop design
- Estimate capex and opex for steel making processes
- Prepare and release equipment specifications and tender appraisals
- Coordinate with technology suppliers and engineering agencies
- Approve engineering deliverables from vendors
- Maintain centralized engineering documentation
- Conduct value engineering reviews to optimize costs
- Oversee reverse engineering of spare parts
What you’ll bring
- BE/B.Tech in Metallurgy or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- B.Arch AICTE/UGC approved
