QA/QC Engineer

About the role

Hill International seeks a QA/QC Engineer in Mumbai to ensure residential and commercial building projects meet quality standards and codes. The role involves conducting site inspections, managing non-conformance reports, and overseeing material testing and final handover documentation. This is an onsite position requiring 8+ years of experience.

What you’ll do

• Review GFC drawings and specifications to prevent rework and dimensional errors
• Assist in implementing Project Quality Plans (PQP) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
• Conduct daily inspections of civil, structural, and finishing works
• Establish QA/QC procedures, checklists, and method statements for construction stages
• Oversee concrete works including slump monitoring and cube testing results
• Verify incoming material quality against approved submittals
• Prepare Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and track deviations until corrected
• Compile handover documents, red-line drawings, and as-built verifications

What you’ll bring

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering
• 8-10 years of hands-on experience in residential or high-rise building projects
• Deep knowledge of finishing works and structural QA/QC processes
• Experience with Non-Conformance Management and local building codes
