About the role
KAIZEN Asset Management Services is hiring a Project Accountant to oversee the financial health of property management projects. Day-to-day work includes managing budgets, conducting financial analysis, reviewing invoices, preparing monthly reports, and supporting month-end and year-end closing while collaborating with project managers on cost control. This is a full-time remote role open to candidates in India, Philippines, Pakistan, Lebanon, and Egypt.
What you’ll do
- Prepare and maintain project budget forecasts, actuals, and variance analyses
- Monitor project expenditures to ensure compliance with approved budgets
- Review and approve invoices and ensure timely payment to suppliers and contractors
- Prepare monthly financial reports on project performance for management review
- Assist in the month-end and year-end financial closing processes
- Collaborate with project managers to provide insights on cost control and financial planning
- Ensure all financial activities align with company policies and accounting standards
- Perform reconciliations of project accounts as necessary
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project accounting or a related finance role
- Solid understanding of accounting principles
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office, including Excel
- Strong problem-solving skills
