About the role

Alternative Fund Services – Private Fund Services at J.P. Morgan builds the back‑end of hedge fund and private equity operations. The Associate prepares and reviews fund‑level financial statements, reconciles accounts, calculates fees and supports investor relations and audit activities. Based in Bengaluru, India, the role is on‑site with a full‑time schedule.

What you’ll do

• Prepare and review fund‑level financial statements and investor reports
• Reconcile accounts and calculate management and performance fees
• Review journal entries and ensure compliance with fund agreements
• Support audit processes and coordinate with stakeholders
• Lead special and ad‑hoc projects to improve processes
• Provide guidance and training to junior staff

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 4+ years of accounting experience in private equity or hedge fund
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Experience with partnership accounting software (e.g., Investran)
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Team player
