Client Implementation, Vice President

About the role

State Street Investment Management seeks a Vice President to lead client implementation within the Client Experience Technology and Business Services team. The role oversees end-to-end onboarding, manages complex change requests, and drives strategic initiatives to enhance the client experience in Bangalore, India. This is a full-time position requiring deep expertise in financial services operations.

What you’ll do

• Lead end-to-end implementation of new client onboarding across products, services, and jurisdictions
• Oversee setup of new clients, mandates, accounts, reporting requirements, and operational workflows
• Act as an escalation point for complex onboarding and implementation challenges
• Lead execution of client change requests including account restructures and regulatory changes
• Identify automation and process improvement opportunities across the onboarding lifecycle
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team
• Ensure implementation activities comply with regulatory, operational, and governance requirements
• Partner with Risk, Compliance, and Audit teams to strengthen the control environment

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related discipline
• 12+ years of experience in Asset Management, Investment Banking, Custody, Wealth Management, or Financial Services
• Extensive experience in Client Onboarding, Client Implementation, Change Management, or Operations leadership roles
• Strong understanding of the end-to-end client lifecycle
