About the role
Technology team at TCS focuses on maintaining and modernizing enterprise mainframe systems. As a Mainframe Developer you will design, code, and support COBOL applications, JCL scripts, and DB2 databases across Z/OS, CICS, and IMS environments, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver robust solutions. What you’ll do
- Develop and maintain COBOL applications
- Write and optimize JCL scripts
- Design and implement DB2 queries and stored procedures
- Perform debugging and performance tuning on mainframe utilities
- Collaborate with teams to ensure code quality and compliance
What you’ll bring
- 5+ years mainframe development
- Strong COBOL and JCL programming
- Proficiency with DB2 SQL and VSAM
- Experience with Z/OS, CICS, IMS
- Understanding of SDLC and Agile
