Talent Operations Associate Intern

About the role

Weekday's Recruiter Screening - Operations team is hiring a Talent Operations Associate Intern to evaluate top-tier talent and run the evaluation engine connecting candidates with high-growth tech companies. Day-to-day work includes leading candidate screening calls, researching client roles, capturing structured evaluation data, managing candidate communication and feedback loops, and using recruiting tools like Airtable, Slack, and CRM platforms. This is a remote internship based in India with a 9-hour-per-day, 6-day-per-week schedule and a 6-month contract that can convert to full-time for high performers.

What you’ll do

• Conduct intro and evaluation calls with candidates to assess technical and non-technical fit against client company requirements
• Research client roles upfront to lead engage-and-answer discussions and guide candidates authoritatively through the process
• Collect comprehensive candidate insights covering structured rubric points to ensure candidates meet client interview standards
• Own candidate communication from end to end, managing feedback loops, status updates, and handoffs to Account Managers
• Leverage recruiting and operational software such as Airtable, Slack, and CRM tools to deliver accurate reporting and maintain high quality standards
• Progress from shadowing live screening calls to independently conducting 15–20 screening calls per day, ramping toward 25–40 calls per day
• Run independent, high-quality candidate screens that mirror client interview standards, take ownership of candidate feedback, and generate key reports
• Master end-to-end talent operations and position for contract extension or full-time conversion based on performance

What you’ll bring

• 0–1 years of experience or recent graduate status
• Graduation in BBA, Psychology, Engineering, or related fields
• Fluent written and spoken English with confidence to lead candidate calls professionally
• Ability to quickly grasp job descriptions across technical and non-technical domains and synthesize information
• Self-starter mindset that is coachable, action-oriented, and able to absorb feedback rapidly
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, fast-changing environment and hitting daily operational goals
• Willingness to work a 9-hour-per-day, 6-day-per-week schedule remotely from India
