Deputy Manager Quality Assurance

About the role

The Commercial Vehicle Group (CVG) Quality Assurance team in Pune, India seeks a Deputy Manager to develop and implement Quality Management Systems across the organization. Day-to-day work includes monitoring performance against targets, coordinating customer audits and complaint handling, maintaining quality documentation, supporting new part feasibility reviews, and driving supplier quality improvement. The role also ensures IATF, ISO/OSHAS, and PPAP compliance while resolving customer complaints with CAPA.

What you’ll do

• Develop and ensure implementation of Quality Management systems across the organization
• Develop and maintain systems to measure performance against targets
• Monitor performance according to agreed standards and advise/assist based on monthly performance levels
• Coordinate with customers for visit/audit planning and customer complaint handling
• Maintain records and documentation related to quality procedures, audits, and inspections
• Participate in new part feasibility review with the development team for first-time-right product launching
• Manage IATF, customer certification, and other systems; ensure inspection and testing per schedule and maintain records
• Coordinate with all departments for day-to-day product quality improvement activities
