Data & Analytics Advisory at PwC helps clients transform raw data into actionable insights. Senior Associate, AWS Data Engineer designs, builds, and optimizes scalable data ingestion and ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS Glue, Step Functions, Lambda, and DMS, ensuring production readiness and high‑volume processing. Bengaluru, on-site, hybrid model with occasional remote days.

What you’ll do

• Develop ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS services such as Glue, Step Functions, Lambda, and DMS
• Implement direct‑to‑Aurora ingestion strategies for snapshots and delta loads
• Maintain referential integrity, correct processing order, idempotency, and recovery mechanisms
• Build monitoring, validation, and reconciliation frameworks for production data pipelines
• Manage scalability and throughput during high‑volume end‑of‑day ingestion workloads

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years data engineering experience
• Expert-level SQL development and performance optimization
• Proficiency in Python and PySpark
• Hands‑on experience with AWS Glue, Step Functions, Lambda, and DMS
• Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT pipelines
• Ensure data integrity, idempotency, and recovery mechanisms
• Build monitoring and validation frameworks for production pipelines
• Experience with schema evolution and CDC patterns
