About the role

Seeking a skilled NetSuite Technical Consultant to join our NetSuite practice in Pune. The role involves developing, customizing, and maintaining NetSuite solutions using SuiteScript, SuiteTalk, SuiteFlow, and SuiteBuilder. Responsibilities include designing workflows, performing data migrations, integrating with external systems via RESTlets and third‑party tools, troubleshooting customizations, supporting version upgrades, and documenting technical solutions. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, have 3+ years of NetSuite technical experience, proficiency in SuiteScript 2.0, JavaScript, and related technologies, and strong problem‑solving and communication skills.

What you’ll do

• Develop, customize, and maintain NetSuite solutions using SuiteScript (1.0 & 2.0), SuiteTalk (SOAP/REST), and SuiteFlow.
• Design and implement workflows, custom records, scripts, dashboards, KPIs, and saved searches to meet business needs.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Perform data migrations and integrations between NetSuite and external systems using RESTlets, web services, and third‑party tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to NetSuite customizations or integrations.
• Support NetSuite version upgrades and maintain compatibility of custom scripts.
• Participate in end‑to‑end project lifecycle: analysis, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Maintain technical documentation and follow change control processes.

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience in NetSuite Technical activities
• Basic understanding of core Java (Apache camel will be an added advantage)
• Hands on script development experience using JavaScript and NetSuite requirements
• Hands‑on experience on the SuiteCloud development environment; Development of custom code using SuiteScript to meet business requirements
• Strong proficiency in SuiteScript 2.0 (or 1.0), JavaScript, SuiteBuilder, SuiteFlow & SuiteAnalytics, SuiteTalk and related web technologies
• Ability to author detailed design/specification documents capturing workflow processes, use cases, exception handling and test cases is a must
• Experience with SuiteTalk, RESTlets, and third‑party integration tools like Dell Boomi, Celigo
• Hands‑on experience on NetSuite Integration with 3rd party applications
• Familiarity with NetSuite sandbox and deployment processes
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability in Code debugging & troubleshooting
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ready to be on‑call on a rotational basis
• Flexible in working different shifts

Nice to have

• NetSuite Certification (SuiteFoundation, SuiteCloud Developer, etc.)
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Knowledge of SuiteAnalytics, SuiteBundler, or NetSuite Advanced PDF/HTML templates
