About the role

Asst Manager/Manager: Suspension System : 3Wh/4Wh designs and evaluates suspension mechanisms, ride and handling aspects, and aggregates (arms/links, springs, dampers, struts, mounts, bushes, ball joints) for 3/4 wheelers, including basic engineering calculations, 3D modelling, 2D drafting, and component-level DVP. The role interfaces with design, validation, CAE, manufacturing, development, and service teams, and provides design support for field service. Location: Pipariya Shahnai, India, Maha, In.

What you’ll do

Design and evaluate suspension mechanisms, ride and handling aspects, and aggregates for 3/4 wheelers
Perform basic engineering calculations for components and the system
Find suspension hard points and optimize layout hands-on
Define component-level DVP by calculating forces and moments from ADAMS and vehicle-level test data
Create 3D models and 2D drawings
Incorporate design for field service and provide design support for field service
Consider cost elements, design parameters, specifications, and design optimization
Interface with design, validation, CAE, manufacturing, development, and service teams

What you’ll bring

B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 70% marks or equivalent CGPA
4 to 8 years of relevant experience
Age between 26 and 32 years
Hands-on experience with Unigraphics (Modeling and Assembly modules)
Understanding of GD&T principles, process capabilities, and ADAMS
Exposure to relevant design standards (IS, JIS, JASO, DIN, ISO)
Knowledge of DFMEA, FTA, and why-why analysis
Sound engineering base in design, materials, processes, theory of machines, metallurgy, and modern manufacturing processes

Nice to have

Training or project related to design of automobile suspensions, vehicle dynamics, and GD&T
