About the role
Ramboll's Data Center Architecture team designs mission-critical facilities that power sustainable infrastructure. The Senior Principal Architect leads end‑to‑end design, from concept master‑planning through BIM‑driven construction documentation, coordinating MEP, structural and safety disciplines. Based in Mumbai (preferred) with options in Chennai, Hyderabad, Gurgaon or Noida, the role operates on‑site with hybrid flexibility as needed.
What you’ll do
- Lead architectural design from concept (LOD200) to construction (LOD350)
- Develop data hall layouts, functional zoning and support spaces
- Coordinate MEP, structural and safety systems to resolve spatial conflicts
- Manage BIM models, clash detection and ensure LOD compliance
- Engage clients, present designs and translate requirements into solutions
- Support construction phase with shop‑drawing reviews, RFIs and site audits
What you’ll bring
- 10+ years architectural experience
- 5+ years data center or mission‑critical projects
- Strong BIM delivery using Revit and AutoCAD
- Expertise in MEP coordination and space planning
- Leadership of multidisciplinary design teams
