About the role

Cushman & Wakefield's Mechanical Engineering team drives MEP design and execution for industrial and PEB projects. The Project Engineer develops initial MEP designs, ensures constructability, coordinates multidisciplinary services, and oversees installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Aurangabad, India, on-site work model.

What you’ll do

• Develop initial MEP design concepts and assess constructability
• Review legal and statutory compliance and secure approvals
• Coordinate with all service design disciplines
• Manage contractor shop drawing submissions and approvals
• Oversee site execution ensuring compliance with approved conditions
• Execute services work per drawings, specifications, schedule, and quality standards
• Select vendors and local material suppliers per procurement process
• Install, test, and commission electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting equipment
• Manage handovers, including documentation, manuals, test certificates, and as‑built drawings
• Initiate training for takeover teams through contractors and consultants

What you’ll bring

• 8-10 years mechanical execution experience in industrial/PEB projects
• Technical awareness of civil, electro‑mechanical, and architectural works
• Excellent organizational and motivational skills
• Outstanding attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
