Solution Engineer, Copilot

About the role

Copilot Solutions Engineering at Microsoft drives AI transformation engagements, delivering demos, pilots and scalable architectures to accelerate customer adoption of Copilot and AI agents. The role builds proofs‑of‑concept, conducts discovery sessions, and crafts secure, modular solutions while maintaining deal hygiene and partnering with Customer Success. Based in Gurugram, Haryana, India, on‑site work model with occasional remote flexibility.

What you’ll do

• Lead AI transformation engagements including demos and pilots
• Craft scalable, secure architectures aligned with customer strategy
• Maintain operational excellence with deal hygiene and technical close plans
• Collaborate with partners for co‑sell opportunities
• Provide technical support for Teams Phone upsell initiatives
• Share insights and coach team members on deal outcomes

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or related field
• Pre‑sales or solution engineering experience
• Ability to build demos and proof‑of‑concepts
• Experience with AI, machine learning, prompt engineering or conversational agents
• Strong presentation and executive communication skills
• Knowledge of enterprise productivity and digital transformation
