About the role
The Cement Manufacturing Power Operation department seeks a Control Room Operator to manage CPP/WHR systems via DCS. The role involves monitoring process parameters, optimizing power generation, and handling emergencies to ensure safe plant efficiency. This position is based in Bhurai, Rajasthan, India.
What you’ll do
- Operate and monitor CPP/WHR unit control room via DCS system
- Monitor process parameters like temperature, pressure, and energy production
- Coordinate with production for reliable power and steam supply
- Analyze Boiler, Turbine, WTP, and CHP parameters for efficiency
- Perform calculations for SHR, SSC, and boiler efficiency
- Handle emergency situations including black-outs and startup/shutdown
- Record running parameters in DCS log books and field logs
- Ensure adherence to safety norms, SOPs, and TPM activities
What you’ll bring
- BE/B.Tech degree
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience
