The Senior Quality Test Engineer I leads UI test automation, accessibility validation, and AI‑assisted testing to ensure reliable, inclusive digital releases, collaborating with product and engineering partners. Based in Chennai, on‑site work model with flexible arrangements.
What you’ll do
- Design, develop, and maintain automated UI, API, and regression tests
- Apply risk‑based testing to prioritize efforts
- Execute automated and exploratory testing for functional, usability, and accessibility coverage
- Leverage AI tools to improve test design and efficiency
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and architects to ensure testable requirements
- Analyze defects, logs, and monitoring data for root‑cause analysis
- Contribute to continuous improvement of automation frameworks and quality practices
What you’ll bring
- 6+ years QA with test automation focus
- Hands‑on UI automation using Playwright or Selenium
- Accessibility testing with WCAG 2.1/2.2, Axe, Lighthouse
- API testing and SQL/data validation
- Implementing automated tests in CI/CD pipelines
- Using AI‑assisted tools like Copilot or ChatGPT
- Cloud experience with AWS
- Strong analytical and communication skills
