You will own FPGA design and software development of core systems, libraries, drivers, and modules across requirements analysis, feature development, prototyping, testing, validation, documentation, and product release. The role uses Agile execution, involves close interaction with internal/external customers and global stakeholders, and provides relocation assistance.

What you’ll do

  • Create designs including digital architecture, clock domain analysis and crossing techniques, memory interfaces, data conversion, high-speed interfaces, bus architectures, and pipeline techniques.
  • Use digital signal processing techniques in FPGA and perform RTL design across multiple projects with coordination of other engineers and designers.
  • Create timing constraints for the design to ensure timing requirements are met and deliver expert-level technical support resolving FPGA design and application issues.
  • Define verification scope, contribute to verification infrastructure, and verify design correctness using configurable, self-checking test benches implemented in VHDL.
  • Translate FPGA and system-level requirements into verification requirements and develop constrained-random, metric-driven test plans to verify FPGAs performing signal processing and control functions.
  • Develop software for DSP using C, collect and analyze coverage metrics to improve test case effectiveness, and create reusable verification intellectual property shared across the organization.
  • Develop test applications and automated test scripts using generic scripting tools, prepare requirement, design, and unit test documents, and engage in all aspects of product development from requirem
