About the role
Sutherland is seeking an Azure DevOps Engineer in Hyderabad, TS, India to implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, release management, automation, and monitoring solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies. Day-to-day work includes designing and maintaining Azure DevOps pipelines, managing Azure cloud services, implementing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform/ARM/Bicep, containerizing applications with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS), and collaborating with development and QA teams to ensure system reliability, scalability, and security. The role requires 3–8 years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
What you’ll do
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
- Automate build, deployment, and release processes
- Manage Azure cloud infrastructure and services
- Configure and maintain Azure Repos, Boards, Pipelines, and Artifacts
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep
- Monitor applications and infrastructure performance
- Collaborate with development and QA teams for deployment activities
- Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS)
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 3–8 years of experience (adjustable based on requirement)
- Strong experience in Azure DevOps, cloud services, infrastructure automation, and deployment strategies
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps, Git/GitHub, YAML Pipelines, and Jenkins (optional)
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services including Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Azure Key Vault, Azure Monitor, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies
- Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep
- Experience with containers and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes/AKS
Nice to have
- Experience with Microservices architecture
- Knowledge of security and compliance practices
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology
- Experience with SonarQube, Nexus, or Artifactory
- Understanding of networking concepts and load balancing
- Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert certification
- Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate certification
