About the role
Ensono seeks a Mainframe Developer to support and enhance mission-critical applications for clients undergoing digital transformation. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining mainframe systems using COBOL, CICS, and DB2, while providing L1-L3 production support and troubleshooting. This position is based in India with rotational shifts.
What you’ll do
- Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications using specified technologies
- Perform L1/L2/L3 maintenance and production support ensuring high availability
- Provide technical troubleshooting and resolution for complex application issues
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of applications and database queries
- Develop technical documentation including knowledge base articles and SOPs
What you’ll bring
- 4-6 years specialized technical experience in mainframe development and support
- Proficiency in COBOL, CICS, IMS DB/DC, DB2, MQ, VSAM, and JCL
- Experience with Netron Frame Technology
- Knowledge of enterprise ticketing systems like ServiceNow
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
