About the role
Distribution team at Ameriprise India focuses on building trusted client, sales, AUM, and activity data assets to drive EMEA distribution growth. The analyst sources, validates, and governs data, creates scalable insight tools, and provides commercial intelligence to sales and client service managers. Gurugram, India, hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote).
What you’ll do
- Validate and source client transaction data, coordinating with external vendors
- Maintain and govern data assets, including glossaries and metadata
- Develop and deliver scalable insight tools for commercial decision‑making
- Collaborate across Distribution, Technology, Data Governance, and senior leadership to resolve data issues
- Support sales and client service teams with data‑led insights
What you’ll bring
- 3+ years data quality or governance experience
- Strong SQL and Python for data analysis
- Experience with CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce
- Familiarity with asset management data domains (AUM, flows, client hierarchies)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
