About the role
Business Banking Group (BBG) leads the SME lending strategy, driving revenue and portfolio quality across large geographical regions. The Regional Head oversees a team that manages complex credit facilities, channel sales, and client relationships for businesses with turnover of ₹25–100 Cr. Based in Bangalore, India, this role is onsite at the corporate office, with full‑time schedule and responsibility for growth, compliance, and profitability.
What you’ll do
- Lead and manage financial health and strategic growth of SME portfolio
- Drive profitability through revenue enhancement and cost control
- Promote fee‑based products such as CMS, TFx, and EXIM services
- Develop and implement growth strategies across geographies
- Ensure compliance via covenant monitoring and audit adherence
- Maintain portfolio quality by managing SMA and NPA
- Collaborate with credit, operations, risk, IT, and compliance teams
- Mentor and guide teams to enhance productivity
