About the role
JLL Construction Management team drives large‑scale industrial projects, delivering on schedule, budget and quality. As Senior Construction Head you will lead the deputy role to the Project Director, overseeing 8,000+ labor force, managing Tier‑1 contractors, and coordinating with client and international expatriate teams. Ahmedabad, India, on‑site role with extensive field presence and travel across the site.
What you’ll do
- Serve as second‑in‑command to Project Director on mega‑scale construction project
- Manage performance, compliance and deliverables of Tier‑1 General Contractors
- Lead client coordination meetings and present executive‑level project status
- Establish and monitor KPIs for schedule, productivity, quality and safety
- Chair weekly construction coordination meetings to resolve schedule and logistics issues
- Identify, assess and mitigate construction risks and manage change orders
- Oversee construction quality, compliance with codes and regulatory requirements
- Lead JLL construction management team, mentor staff and drive continuous improvement
What you’ll bring
- 20+ years progressive construction management experience
- 10+ years managing mega‑projects with 5,000+ workforce
- Proven track record with multiple Tier‑1 contractors
- Client‑facing senior leadership experience
- Experience with international and expatriate teams
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred
- PMP certification highly desirable
- Professional engineering license valued
