Head of Service Line Build

About the role

Ericsson is seeking a Head of Service Line Build in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India to manage Network Rollout (NRO) and deliver commercially viable end-to-end technical solutions. The role involves translating customer needs into technical offerings, driving delivery efficiency, managing budgets and margins, and leading large-scale 4G/5G network rollouts, swaps, and migrations. The position requires 15 to 20 years of experience and combines technical leadership with project management across multi-vendor telecom domains.

What you’ll do

• Plan and provide resources, tools, and automation for customer projects in NRO areas including telecom installation/acceptance, network integration, documentation, quality audits, quantity surveys, an
• Develop and execute delivery strategy while minimizing costs over runs and maintaining QoS
• Manage customer interaction and escalations with corporate vertical heads, circle CTOs, and project/operations heads to ensure timely delivery, updates, and governance
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments and stakeholders for seamless and timely delivery
• Handle budgeting, maintain top- and bottom-line margins, and ensure adequate profitability
• Drive organizational culture, initiatives, values, and team competence while fostering a motivated workforce and satisfied customers
• Lead end-to-end technical integration of multi-vendor solutions spanning 2G/3G/4G/5G radio access, microwave, optical, packet transport, and IPRAN/CEN domains
• Ensure 100% compliance with OHS and COBE/ethical conduct across NRO programs, drive Target Zero safety initiatives, and enforce first-time-right quality KPIs to meet project milestones and secure quic

What you’ll bring

• BE / BTech in ECE, IT, or CS preferred
• PMP, Prince 2, or ITIL certification preferred
• 15 to 20 years of relevant experience
• Experience leading Radio & Transport Network rollouts, swaps, or modernizations
• Very good technical knowledge of Ericsson RAN, MW, and related products
• People leadership and technical lead / project management experience in leading telco projects
• Ability to serve as E2E technical lead for multi-vendor integration across RAN, microwave, optical, packet transport, and IPRAN/CEN domains
• Experience rolling out large-scale 4G/5G networks and leading areas such as Cloud RAN, MIMO, 5G, IoT, and SDN
