Senior Associate MDG Technical

About the role

Senior Associate MDG Technical – responsible for designing and developing new features in the MDG application, collaborating with functional leads, architecture team, and consulting partners. Requires strong background in core MDG Application and experience with SAP MDG solutions for Material, Customer, Vendor, or Financial masters. Duties include building scalable, reliable solutions, translating requirements into efficient code, ensuring code quality and technical documentation, prototyping solutions, supporting implementation, maintaining compliance and security standards, automating processes, and communicating in English.

• Design and develop new features in MDG application
• Collaborate with functional leads to translate requirements into efficient code
• Ensure code quality and maintain technical documentation
• Build prototypes of solutions when required
• Assist in solution support
• Ensure adherence to Development, Compliance & Security standards
• Automate work processes where possible
• Communicate effectively in English

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Information Technology or Computer Science
• 8+ years technical experience, 5+ years coding in S4 Hana and SAP MDG
• Hands‑on knowledge in OO ABAP, BRF+, MDG Workflows, CAP/RAP/APIs, extensions, FIORI, BTP, OData, CDS views
• 2–5 years experience with ABAP CDS views, OData, REST/JSON, XML, CDS Frameworks, MDG Data Replication, BAPI, RFC, IDOC, WSDL, PI Proxies, OData REST APIs

Nice to have

• Experience with Solution Manager, JIRA, CI/CD concepts
• Knowledge of AIF, Flexible Workflows
• Relevant SAP Certifications
