About the role
Senior IT Support Specialist at CANPACK Group (GGH entity) maintains and supports the IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability while minimizing downtime. Day-to-day work includes diagnosing and resolving technical issues across PCs, servers, mobile devices, printers, networks, video conferencing, WMS devices, CCTV, and access control systems; configuring, installing, testing, and patching hardware and software; leading technology initiatives and training IT staff; managing hardware/software inventory and documentation; coordinating with remote IT teams or vendors; and participating in investment projects and budget planning. Location is Unnao, UP, with the role initially deputed in Aurangabad/Nuh for the first year before moving to Unnao once the plant is set up.

- Demonstrate expertise in standard IT processes and procedures, with a thorough understanding of how various IT infrastructure elements function and interact, and provide constructive feedback and reco
- Enhance the technology experience by demonstrating to users how to maximize productivity and efficiency through optimal technology usage
- Train IT staff on effective troubleshooting and problem diagnosis
- Lead corporate technology initiatives, oversee implementations of new technologies, prepare teams for their use, and provide ongoing support throughout the technology lifecycle
- Participate in investment projects, support annual budget planning, and monitor actual expenditures
- Project manage retrofits for equipment such as PCs, monitors, RF scanners, kiosks, printers, UPS's, AV, etc., and deliver high-quality onsite and remote support to end users, including senior executiv
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues involving PCs, servers, mobile devices, printers, networks, video conferencing, WMS devices, CCTV cameras, time and attendance and access control systems efficien
- Configuration, installation, testing, patching of the above-mentioned hardware and related software
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor/Master Degree (desirable) - BSc or MSc degree in IT, electronics, electrical engineering, or automation
- 12-15 years of hands-on experience
- Knowledge of Information Technologies (fundamental concepts, systems, platforms, tools, and technologies, hardware, software, and services), including the widespread application of IT in manufacturing
- Understand concepts of server, desktop, application, and virtualization
- Understand the purpose and function of fundamental communication system hardware, including end user devices, switches, routers, cabling, wireless access points
- Advance knowledge of Windows 10/11
- Experience with ITSM systems
- Familiarity with enterprise imaging and updating tools, TCP/IP network understanding, and familiarity with ITIL
