Analyst, HOA Accounting

About the role

The Analyst, HOA Accounting role within Financial Operations in Bangalore supports Homeowners’ Associations by gathering detailed ledger and accounting statements, identifying errors, and booking expenses while maintaining accounting standards. Day-to-day work includes computing fines from code violations, processing payments, conducting due diligence for accurate disclosure, and constructing simple reports with basic data governance and security principles. The position follows US Shifts (4 PM to 1 AM) on a hybrid work model.

What you’ll do

• Work directly with Homeowners’ Associations (HOA)
• Gather detailed ledger/accounting statements
• Identify errors and book expenses while maintaining accounting standards
• Compute fines resulting from code violations and process payments
• Construct simple reports with basic knowledge of data governance and security principles
• Conduct due diligence for accurate disclosure of accounting statements
• Apply basic theoretical knowledge of financial statements
• Apply understanding of HOA risk management policies and organizational controls

What you’ll bring

• BCom or equivalent education
• 1-3 years of Accounts Payable or similar experience
• Expertise in MS Office and ERP/Accounting packages
• Ability to use basic Excel formulas
• Ability to accurately compute fines from code violations and process payments
• Ability to construct simple reports with basic knowledge of data governance and security principles
• Ability to conduct due diligence for accurate disclosure of accounting statements
• Well-versed in written and spoken English communication

Nice to have

• Accounts Payable experience in mortgage processing, due diligence, and US Real estate
• Exposure to Salesforce and Yardi
