About the role

ICG Medical seeks an Assistant Manager - Compliance UK to support the Compliance Manager in maintaining regulatory standards and audit readiness. Based in Gurgaon, this on-site role involves managing team leaders, overseeing compliance processes, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring adherence to UK healthcare regulations. The position focuses on people management and operational compliance within a global healthcare recruitment environment.

What you’ll do

• Manage Team Leaders and their teams in day-to-day department operations
• Monitor team performance against agreed targets and quality standards
• Keep up to date with relevant UK healthcare regulations and industry requirements
• Assist with regular risk assessments and identify potential compliance gaps
• Manage and coordinate compliance audit processes and follow-ups
• Maintain and review internal compliance policies and procedures
• Provide guidance and practical compliance advice to internal stakeholders
• Support the management and investigation of compliance-related complaints

What you’ll bring

• Previous experience in a compliance team leadership or management role
• Strong experience in compliance auditing and audit processes
• Previous experience managing at least 8 people
• Demonstrable experience managing diverse, multi-level teams
• Experience with quality assurance, risk management and regulatory compliance

Nice to have

Experience within the UK healthcare compliance sector is strongly preferred
