About the role
Senior SOC Analyst responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security events across SIEM, EDR, and network tools, conducting threat intelligence research, and mentoring junior analysts.
What you’ll do
- Monitor and analyze security logs for incidents
- Escalate issues and conduct red team exercises
- Support system/network exploitation and defense
- Perform malware analysis and triage
- Maintain and improve security technologies
- Create use cases and configure tools
- Monitor threat landscape and act on advisories
- Tune SIEM content and parsing
- Monitor cloud infrastructure events
- Deliver scheduled and ad-hoc reports
- Coach L1 analysts and develop SOPs
- Handle full ticket lifecycle from detection to remediation
- Generate end-of-shift reports for knowledge transfer
- Conduct threat-intel research and engage in security forums
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- 4+ years SOC experience
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, GCIH, GCIA desirable
Nice to have
- Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP and event log analysis
- Strong understanding of Windows, Linux, networking concepts
- Experience with SIEM, EDR, network analysis tools
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PERL)
- Malware analysis and reverse engineering skills
