Manager Finance Chartered Accountant

About the role

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Manager Finance - Chartered Accountant to manage accounting operations, financial reporting, audits, compliance, and financial controls in Mumbai, India. The role involves managing General Ledger accounting, month-end and year-end closing, statutory and internal audits, and acting as the Finance SME for Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365). The candidate will also lead and mentor the accounting team while coordinating with internal stakeholders and shared service teams.

What you’ll do

• Manage General Ledger accounting and month-end/year-end closing activities.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Review journal entries, accruals, provisions, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Asset accounting processes.
• Coordinate and manage statutory audits, internal audits, and financial statement reviews.
• Act as the Finance SME for Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) and manage accounting transactions within it.
• Lead and mentor accounting team members and review team deliverables.

What you’ll bring

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
• 5-6 years Post Qualification Experience in Finance & Accounts.
• Strong experience in financial accounting, reporting, audits, and internal controls.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) is mandatory.
• Experience in month-end close and financial statement preparation.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in multinational organizations, professional services, consulting, engineering, or infrastructure sectors.
• Exposure to global reporting environments.
• Experience managing a small finance team.
