Application Support Analyst

About the role

Hitachi Energy's HVDC product group develops, manufactures, and sells DC transmission systems globally. As an Application Support Analyst in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, you will support and train global users of PLM & Engineering apps (e.g., Teamcenter, Active Workspace, NX, Engineering Base, BIM/ACC, Polarion), create documentation and training materials, maintain 3D standard libraries, manage user licenses and access, and collaborate with third-line support. The role is full-time and remote.

What you’ll do

• Support global PLM & Engineering apps users (e.g., Teamcenter, Active Workspace, NX, Engineering Base, BIM/ACC, Polarion)
• Create application documentation, guidelines, and training material
• Support and maintain 3D standard libraries
• Manage user license and access, and continuously solve and manage support issues
• Support and train global users and Power Users
• Report and collaborate with third-line support (vendor and application suppliers)
• Arrange user and Power User meetings
• Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines

What you’ll bring

• At least 5 years of experience working with PLM & Engineering apps
• Deep knowledge of PLM & Engineering apps modelling, assemblies, and drafting
• Good knowledge of Teamcenter and PLM & Engineering apps functionality and standard part libraries
• Knowledge of ITIL
• Strong understanding of PLM principles and lifecycle management
• Excellent communication skills in English, oral and written
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
• High level of integrity and dependability with ability to handle diverse personalities in a multicultural environment
