Custom Software Engineer

About the role

Accenture's Gurugram office seeks a Custom Software Engineer to lead automation architecture and delivery at scale. You will architect and build enterprise-grade automation solutions, lead and grow teams of automation engineers, define automation strategy and roadmap, and oversee delivery of large-scale automation platforms while ensuring KPIs, quality, and value targets are met. The role requires hands-on expertise in Python enterprise automation across AWS, Azure, GCP, and hybrid cloud, with a focus on GenAI/Agentic AI, AIOps, observability, SRE, and DevOps.

What you’ll do

• Lead and grow teams of automation engineers
• Define automation strategy, roadmap, and standards
• Oversee delivery of large-scale automation platforms
• Ensure KPIs, quality, and value targets are met
• Design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications
• Use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions

What you’ll bring

• Minimum 12 years of experience required
• 15 years full-time education required
• Expert in Python enterprise automation architecture
• Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, and hybrid cloud
• GenAI / Agentic AI at scale
• Architecture and assessment of advanced monitoring and AIOps
• Observability, SRE, and DevOps expertise
• People and program management skills
