Credit Analyst, BE Wholesale

About the role

Bharat Banking team at Axis Bank focuses on expanding credit services for rural and semi‑urban markets. The Credit Analyst will manage credit appraisal, sanction notes, financial analysis and portfolio monitoring for the B2B Wholesale vertical. Based in Mumbai, on‑site work model.

What you’ll do

• Prepare sanction notes for Agri High Value PSL, SCF and Bharat SCF cases
• Analyze financial statements and assign internal ratings
• Recommend risk mitigants and loan pricing to sanctioning authority
• Coordinate with relationship and collections teams on NTB/ETB cases
• Monitor credit portfolio performance and conduct limit renewals
• Approve trade transaction requests and liaise with audit, compliance and operations

What you’ll bring

• 8-12 years credit analysis experience
• Experience in B2B wholesale credit
• Knowledge of financial statement analysis
• Familiarity with CAM preparation for SME/Agri/Corporate borrowers
• Graduation required, MBA/CA preferred
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
