Senior Business Analyst

About the role

Quest Global seeks a Senior Business Analyst to join the CIO Scrum team in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. The role gathers, analyzes, and documents business requirements, translates them into functional and technical specifications, and collaborates with IT, project managers, and business teams to implement aligned solutions. The analyst supports data analysis, reporting, and performance tracking while facilitating stakeholder meetings and maintaining project documentation. This full-time position follows a 40-hour work week.

What you’ll do

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders
• Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications
• Conduct process mapping, workflow analysis, and identify areas for improvement
• Collaborate with IT, project managers, and business teams to implement solutions
• Support data analysis, reporting, and performance tracking
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including business requirement documents (BRDs), user stories, and use cases
• Facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations for stakeholders
• Ensure solutions align with business objectives and compliance requirements

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to gather, document, and analyze business requirements
• Expertise in creating functional specifications, user stories, and process flows
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders, development teams, and QA to ensure alignment with business objectives
• Proficiency in tools like Rally, xWiki, and experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Good understanding of SQL/relational databases for data analysis and validation
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder management and requirement elicitation

Nice to have

• Knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
• Experience in requirements management and documentation tools (JIRA, Confluence)
