Senior Service Engineer - Installation and Commissioning

About the role

Ingersoll Rand seeks a Senior Service Engineer in Ghaziabad to lead installation and commissioning of industrial lifting equipment and SPM fastening machines. The role involves on-site execution, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, and coordinating with customers for seamless handover. This position requires frequent travel to project sites.

What you’ll do

• Lead installation, erection, and commissioning of SPM Machines and industrial lifting equipment
• Ensure proper alignment, assembly, and fitment of mechanical components at the site
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and basic electrical issues during installation
• Carry out pre-commissioning checks, trial runs, and final handover
• Coordinate with customers, contractors, and internal teams for smooth site execution
• Interpret engineering drawings and prepare site reports and commissioning documentation
• Support customer training and ensure compliance with safety norms and regulations

What you’ll bring

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in installation & commissioning
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
• Strong hands-on experience with Industrial Lifting equipment or machine building
• Ability to read engineering, GA drawings, wiring diagrams, and Pneumatic circuits
• Understanding of mechanical systems, alignment techniques, and erection practices
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems, drives, panels, and limit switches
