Iris Software seeks a Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer to design and develop scalable enterprise applications in Noida, UP, India. The role involves defining architecture, leading reusable module development, optimizing workflows, and mentoring team members on Rails best practices. You will collaborate with stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions across complex, mission-critical projects.

What you’ll do

• Design and develop scalable enterprise applications using Ruby on Rails aligned with business and technical requirements.
• Define application architecture approaches and development standards using Ruby on Rails best practices.
• Lead development of reusable application modules, shared services, and framework-based components.
• Design and optimize application workflows, business logic implementation, and application structure.
• Establish development standards, coding practices, and quality guidelines across Rails-based applications.
• Review application designs and code to ensure adherence to architecture and engineering standards.
• Troubleshoot complex application issues through detailed root cause analysis and sustainable solutions.
• Drive application performance optimization, maintainability improvements, and code quality initiatives.
