About the role

R&D / Embedded Software team at Plastic Omnium focuses on advancing tooling for embedded software development. The DevOps & Toolchain Manager leads a six‑engineer Agile/Scrum team, overseeing Azure‑hosted RedHat Linux and Windows VMs, CI/CD pipelines, and toolchain platforms like Polarion, GitLab, Jenkins, and JFrog while ensuring cybersecurity compliance. Works closely with IT, cybersecurity, and project stakeholders to integrate AI solutions that boost productivity. Bangalore, India, on-site.

What you’ll do

• Lead and mentor a 6‑person engineering team using Agile/Scrum
• Plan sprints, track tasks, and manage toolchain projects via JIRA
• Oversee installation, maintenance, and configuration of embedded development tools on Azure‑hosted VMs
• Manage SaaS applications such as JIRA and Confluence and coordinate with external vendors
• Collaborate with cybersecurity team to identify and remediate infrastructure vulnerabilities
• Implement product cybersecurity tools within the toolchain
• Drive planning, experimentation, and deployment of AI solutions to enhance automation
• Handle software license management, renewals, and compliance tracking

What you’ll bring

• Proven DevOps or toolchain management experience
• Strong Agile/Scrum methodology knowledge
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Familiarity with Azure cloud and virtualized environments
• Experience with embedded software tools (Polarion, GitLab, Jenkins, Coverity, JFrog)
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and vulnerability management
• Experience with AI integration in development environments (plus)
• Fluent English (spoken and written)
