Java L3 Production Support

About the role

Cognizant seeks a Java L3 Production Support specialist in Bangalore to ensure the stability of enterprise applications. The role involves troubleshooting production incidents, monitoring system health, and supporting CI/CD pipelines. This is an on-site position requiring deep expertise in Java and Kafka ecosystems.

What you’ll do

• Provide L3 support for Kafka-based enterprise applications and platforms
• Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, performance issues, and service disruptions
• Monitor application and platform health and drive proactive issue resolution
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure platform stability and reliability
• Support CI/CD activities, deployments, and operational excellence initiatives

What you’ll bring

• 6 to 10 years of experience
• L3 Production/Application Support Experience
• Strong Communication and Collaboration Skills

Nice to have

• Apache Kafka, Java, Spring Boot
• JSON/YAML, Git, Maven, GitHubCI/CD Pipelines
• SQL, Linux, Bash Scripting
• Monitoring & Alerting Tools (DataDog, Dynatrace, etc.)
• Basic Angular/Java Development Knowledge
• Database Troubleshooting and Analysis
