About the role

Wholesale Portfolio Analytics – Industry Analytics Analyst will lead in‑depth industry research to support credit risk decisions within JPMorgan’s Wholesale Credit Risk organization. Leveraging quantitative skills and data‑driven insights, the analyst will develop analytical frameworks, forecast models, and trend analyses that inform senior management and risk teams. Responsibilities include sourcing and synthesizing internal and external data, identifying emerging risk patterns, building macro‑economic projection models, and translating findings into clear reports and presentations. The role requires strong problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration across cross‑functional teams. Candidates should hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a quantitative discipline, possess at least three years of experience in financial risk analytics or industry research, and demonstrate proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and modern data tools. What you’ll bring

Bachelor's or Master's in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or related fields
3+ years experience in Financial Risk Analytics, Industry Research, or Wholesale Credit Risk Management
Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
