About the role
Lead Software Engineer with deep expertise in Manhattan WMOS and Site Reliability Engineering, responsible for maintaining high‑availability production environments. Leads L2/L3 support, collaborates with engineering and operations to design scalable warehouse solutions, and drives proactive monitoring, alerting, and incident resolution. Manages cross‑functional teams, mentors engineers, and implements SOPs and automated workflows to optimize daily operations. Requires strong problem‑solving skills, experience with EDI, third‑party MHE systems, and integration across WMS platforms. Works in a hybrid setting in Pune, India, supporting global supply chain operations.
What you’ll do
- Lead L2/L3 support for Manhattan WMOS
- Collaborate with engineering to design scalable WMS
- Root cause analysis for critical system issues
- Build proactive monitoring and alerting
- Define SOPs and automated workflows
What you’ll bring
- 8+ years overall tech experience
- 5+ years Manhattan WMOS or similar WMS
- 2+ years Site Reliability Engineering
- 2+ years software dev/support in supply chain
- Experience with EDI and third‑party MHE systems
Nice to have
- Retail or e‑commerce warehouse background
- Large‑scale WMS migration experience
- Event‑driven architecture knowledge (Kafka, TIBCO)
- Cloud and container orchestration exposure
- Python or Shell scripting proficiency
