Technical Consultant – Scale Specialist Lead (Intune/Windows – Tenant-to-Tenant)

About the role
Kyndryl seeks an offshore specialist leader for tenant-to-tenant endpoint migration readiness and escalation support. You will guide Scale squads and the Factory through device migration sequencing, Intune re-enrolment impacts, Autopilot/join-state considerations, and remediation patterns, standardizing solutions and providing rapid escalation leadership during cutover windows. The role is remote and based across multiple Indian locations including Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai, and Greater Noida, with shifts aligned to a 24-hour global working day.
What you’ll do
- Provide endpoint readiness guidance and risk assessments for migration waves
- Act as escalation authority for complex device migration failures and root cause analysis
- Define and maintain runbooks for common remediation scenarios (enrolment failures, compliance issues, profile/application targeting problems)
- Coordinate dependencies with Identity and Security teams (device trust and access controls)
- Support cutover events with rapid triage and stabilisation leadership
- Maintain known-issues and fixes catalogue; reduce recurring defects through standard patterns
- Provide validation criteria and evidence standards for endpoint readiness and post-migration acceptance
- Support the Factory discipline leads by improving troubleshooting playbooks and telemetry standards
What you’ll bring
- Delivered tenant-to-tenant endpoint migration work in production (Intune/Windows specialism mandatory)
- Deep Intune operational expertise and troubleshooting competence
- Practical understanding of device join state and provisioning concepts relevant to tenant transitions
- Proven ability to create runbooks, validation steps and known-fix playbooks for repeatable execution
- Willingness to align working hours to regional cutovers (early/late calls) and support extended hours when required
- Strong documentation discipline and evidence-first practices
- Ability to coach engineers and improve delivery maturity at pace
