About the role
Availity is a leading U.S. health information network seeking a Manager, Product to own key initiatives within the Payment Accuracy domain. Based in Bangalore, India, this hybrid role defines, delivers, and continuously improves product capabilities that reduce claim errors, prevent denials, and improve payment accuracy for healthcare payers and providers. The product leader partners with Engineering, Analytics, Operations, Customer Success, and healthcare stakeholders to translate complex business challenges into actionable strategies and measurable outcomes from discovery through delivery and adoption.
What you’ll do
- Own a defined product area within the Payment Accuracy platform from discovery through launch and ongoing optimization
- Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business objectives, customer needs, operational efficiency goals, and platform strategy
- Translate customer problems, business opportunities, operational challenges, and market insights into clear product outcomes and prioritized initiatives
- Define product success metrics and use outcome-based measurements to evaluate product performance and guide future investments
- Develop a strong understanding of U.S. healthcare payer-provider workflows, claims processing, payment integrity, payment accuracy, denials management, and revenue cycle operations
- Lead structured discovery efforts using customer research, stakeholder feedback, operational insights, and quantitative data
- Define and monitor key product performance indicators including adoption, utilization, denial reduction, error reduction, operational efficiency, turnaround time, customer satisfaction, and ROI
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and workflow intelligence to improve product capabilities and operational efficiency
What you’ll bring
- 10+ years of overall professional experience
- 5+ years of Product Management, Product Owner, Lead Business Analyst, or related product leadership experience
- Proven experience managing complex product initiatives from discovery through delivery and optimization
- Experience within U.S. healthcare, healthcare technology, revenue cycle management, claims processing, payment integrity, payment accuracy, payer-provider workflows, or similarly complex regulated Saa
- Strong Agile/Scrum experience with roadmap planning, backlog management, sprint execution, release planning, and stakeholder communication
- Demonstrated success defining product strategy, prioritising investments, and delivering measurable business outcomes
- Strong understanding of healthcare claims workflows, payment accuracy, denial prevention, payment integrity, or revenue cycle processes
- Experience working with APIs, integrations, workflow systems, data platforms, and business rules engines
Nice to have
- Experience with claims editing, payment integrity, claim validation, denial prevention, EDI/X12 transactions, healthcare APIs, or payer-provider solutions
- Experience with platform products, workflow products, analytics products, operational tooling, or developer-facing APIs
- Exposure to AI-driven workflows, automation platforms, and process optimization initiatives
- Experience with SQL, Jira, Confluence, Power BI, QuickSight, Pendo, Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, or similar tools
- Experience supporting product marketing, customer enablement, enterprise product launches, and customer adoption programmes
- Experience working within highly regulated environments requiring privacy, security, reliability, and auditability controls
