About the role

Cognizant's Technology & Engineering department in Bangalore, Karnataka, India is hiring an SAP MM HANA consultant to deliver SAP implementations for the Hitech Electronics industry. Day-to-day work includes applying SAP MM experience and configuration principles across the MM cycle count, master data and organizational structure, purchasing and receiving processes, supplier EDI flows, storage and operations, and outbound processing, while managing project scope, timelines, and client needs. The role requires at least 2 full SAP implementations and ABAP debugging/writing detailed functional specifications, with IS Retail and Mobile/UI exposure as strong pluses.

What you’ll do

• Manage expectations, project scope, and assess client needs to suggest the best possible solutions
• Create, manage, communicate, and meet project timelines and goals
• Apply SAP MM experience and SAP configuration principles across master data, organizational structure, purchasing, receiving, EDI flows, storage, and outbound processing
• Support MM Cycle Count, Master Data & Organizational Structure, Purchasing & Receiving Processes, Supplier EDI Flows, Storage & Operations, and Outbound Processing
• Communicate verbally and in writing with customers, end users, and team members
• Work both independently and as a member of a team

What you’ll bring

• 10+ years of professional experience in the Hitech Electronics industry within a SAP environment
• SAP MM experience and understanding of SAP configuration principles
• Exposure to at least 2 full SAP implementations
• Experience with ABAP Debugging and writing detailed functional specifications
• Knowledge of MM Cycle Count, Master Data & Organizational Structure, Purchasing & Receiving Processes, Supplier EDI Flows, Storage & Operations, and Outbound Processing
• Ability to communicate successfully verbally and in writing with customers, end users, and team members
• Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred)
