About the role
Automation Testing team at EY builds robust automation frameworks and strategies for client projects. The Senior Automation Test Engineer designs and implements automation frameworks, creates test plans, leads cross‑geography teams, and provides training while ensuring regression coverage across web and mobile applications. Chennai, on-site, hybrid schedule available, relocation assistance offered.
What you’ll do
- Design and develop automation frameworks and libraries
- Automate manual test cases for web and mobile applications
- Maintain and execute regression test suites
- Create automation test plans and obtain approvals
- Lead cross‑geography testing teams and provide training
- Coordinate with development teams to resolve defects
- Generate test summary reports and manage defect processes
- Advise clients on ROI and value of automation
What you’ll bring
- BE/BTech/MCA/M.Sc degree
- 5-10 years automation consulting experience
- 5+ years Selenium, Protractor, or UFT
- Strong Java and TestNG expertise
- Experience with Cucumber BDD and Rest Assured
- Mobile testing using Appium
- Leadership and client communication skills
- Ability to develop automation strategies from scratch
