Assistant Manager, Maintenance

About the role

Maintenance Team at Cargill Doddaballapur plant focuses on ensuring reliable operation of plant assets. The Assistant Manager plans routine and preventive maintenance, develops detailed work packages, manages spares inventory, and oversees CAPEX projects while training staff. Based in Doddaballapur, Karnataka, India, on-site role.

What you’ll do

• Plan and execute routine and preventive maintenance activities
• Develop detailed job plans and work packages to improve efficiency
• Maintain accurate engineering records and documentation
• Manage procurement of spares, equipment, and materials
• Oversee CAPEX project documentation and purchase requests
• Train maintenance manpower and ensure compliance with EHS/FSQR standards
• Maintain critical spares inventory and coordinate asset transfers

What you’ll bring

• Full-time engineering degree (Mechanical or Chemical)
• At least 5 years maintenance experience in API/Bulk drug or related plant
• Experience in utility, infrastructure, and equipment maintenance
• Experience in engineering spares management
• Knowledge of SAP (preferred)
