About the role

ENGINE, Chevron’s Engineering and Innovation Excellence Center in Bengaluru, drives mechanical design for Shale and Tight onshore assets. The Mechanical Project Facility Engineer supports brownfield and greenfield projects, delivering piping, vessel, and rotating equipment designs, and provides remote technical support for operations and turnarounds. Based in Bengaluru, the role is on‑site with standard business hours and offers opportunities for professional growth and digital collaboration.

What you’ll do

  • Design and troubleshoot process piping, pipelines, vessels and rotating equipment
  • Develop P&IDs, process flow diagrams, area and dig plans
  • Manage mechanical design change process
  • Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance and Technical teams
  • Participate in safety reviews (HazOps, HazAn)
  • Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting
  • Improve engineering tools and processes

What you’ll bring

  • 3 years on‑site facility experience
  • 5-10 years Oil & Gas or Petrochemicals industry experience

Nice to have

  • Mechanical, Chemical or Civil Engineering degree
  • Experience in greenfield/brownfield projects
  • Knowledge of FEED, Detailed Engineering, Construction, Commissioning, Startup
