JC Field Engineer

About the role

The JC Field Engineer at Jio Platforms Limited in Latur supports the Engineering & Technology department by ensuring network deployment, operations, and maintenance across assigned sites. Day-to-day work includes visiting sites to verify operational status, supervising radio frequency optimization and vendor/contractor quality control, configuring L2 switches and access points, troubleshooting router faults, and executing field activities per Network Operations Centre work orders. The role also involves material tracking and reconciliation, conducting acceptance tests and audits with Senior Field Engineers, meeting customers for surveys on network coverage and capacity, and releasing FTTH desktop plans, final construction designs, and capacity augmentation plans in compliance with engineering and business guidelines.

What you’ll do

• Ensure material tracking and reconciliation management
• Visit sites regularly and ensure all sites are operational
• Supervise radio frequency optimization related activities
• Oversee quality control of vendors and contractors
• Conduct acceptance test processes
• Assist Senior Field Engineers in audits on a timely basis
• Manage deployment related activities conducted by vendors and contractors
• Configure L2 switch to connect access points and enhance network
