About the role

KPMG Assurance and Consulting Services LLP’s Global Technology Audit team in Bangalore drives external audits and IT control assessments for public companies. The Associate 2 – GTA role conducts PCAOB‑aligned audits, evaluates technology controls, and performs SOC 1/2 and HITRUST assessments, while mentoring junior staff and supporting client engagements. Based in Bangalore, the position requires on‑site presence with flexible arrangements.

What you’ll do

• Conduct external audits per PCAOB standards
• Evaluate and document technology controls (GITCs, ITACs)
• Perform SOC 1/2 and HITRUST assessments
• Assist in process understanding discussions
• Review audit workpapers
• Provide coaching to junior team members
• Communicate findings to senior management and clients

What you’ll bring

• 1-4 years relevant audit experience
• BE/B.Tech or equivalent

Nice to have

• Experience with PCAOB standards
• Knowledge of SOC 1/2, HITRUST, SSAE18
• Familiarity with IT control frameworks (COBIT, COSO, HIPAA)
