About the role
Quality Assurance team at Bastian Solutions focuses on delivering reliable software through automated testing. The QA Automation Test Engineer designs, develops and maintains Playwright (TypeScript) test scripts, builds scalable automation frameworks from scratch, and manages CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions. Works closely with development teams to prioritize testing, execute manual, API and SQL testing, and communicate findings. Bangalore, hybrid work model.
What you’ll do
- Design and develop automated test scripts using Playwright and TypeScript
- Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks
- Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions
- Execute manual, API and database testing
- Identify, debug and resolve automation and application issues
- Collaborate with development teams for risk-based test prioritization
- Communicate testing status and results to stakeholders
What you’ll bring
4-5 years experience in manual and automation testing
Nice to have
BE/B.Tech/MCA in Computer Science or related field
