About the role

Williams‑Sonoma India’s Technology Center in Pune builds high‑throughput Windows services for supply‑chain automation. The .NET developer designs TCP socket servers, WPF UIs, and PLC integrations to process real‑time labeling data. Work is hybrid in Pune, India, with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. The role supports end‑to‑end workflows across SQL Server, Oracle, and DB2, and participates in Agile sprints and CI/CD pipelines.

What you’ll do

• Design and maintain high‑throughput TCP socket servers
• Implement multithreaded async services
• Develop WPF UIs and integrate with Windows Services
• Integrate PLCs and serial ports with robust error handling
• Persist data to relational databases
• Participate in Agile development and IT change management
• Troubleshoot production incidents
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• 5+ years C#/.NET experience
• 4.8+ .NET Framework
• TCP/IP socket programming
• WPF desktop development
• SQL Server/Oracle/DB2 data access
• Multithreading & async/await
