Cognizant's Technology & Engineering department is hiring a Workday HCM: Benefits Consultant in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. The role focuses on developing Workday Reporting and Analytics solutions, configuring Workday HCM and Payroll, and supporting finance and accounting teams through analytics. This hybrid position requires proactive problem-solving and collaboration with no travel necessary.

What you’ll do

• Develop and implement Workday Reporting and Analytics solutions to enhance business processes and decision-making
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for Workday HCM
• Provide expert guidance on Workday best practices to optimize system performance and user experience
• Conduct regular system audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with company policies
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations and processes
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Workday applications in a timely manner
• Facilitate training sessions for end-users to maximize the effective use of Workday tools
• Support the finance and accounting teams by providing insights through Workday analytics

What you’ll bring

• 4 to 6 years of experience
• Proficiency in Workday Reporting and Analytics
• Hands-on experience with Workday HCM configuration and management
• Knowledge in Finance and Accounting
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work model
• Proactive approach to troubleshooting and resolving technical issues

Background in Finance and Accounting is advantageous
